Three Fayette County residents were arrested last week after allegedly stealing more than $1,300 worth of merchandise from the Fayetteville Wal-Mart.

Fayetteville Police Chief Pat Tygrett says 26-year-old Tina Quarles and 23-year-old Jennifer Pauley, both of Naoma, and James H. Webb Jr., 31, of Arnett, were arrested Wednesday night after allegedly stealing televisions, computers, computer monitors, phones, clothes and other merchandise during the day and again in the evening.

Tygrett says additional arrests are pending as others are believed to have been involved in the crimes.

The incident was investigated by Lt. S. Parsons and Patrolman C. Davis.
