The Small Business Development Division of the West Virginia Development Office is seeking the opinions of small business owners on critical issues in a new online survey, according to the division’s director.

Conley Salyer said the agency is conducting the study in conjunction with the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the Entrepreneurial League System, the Procurement Technical Assistance Center and the Regional Contracting Assistance Center.

“The answers to the questions posed in the survey will help shape West Virginia’s strategic plan for service delivery to the entrepreneurial and small business community for the coming years,” Salyer said. “We urge small business owners to offer their valuable opinions by participating in this survey.”

Salyer says multiple-choice questions cover topics including future financial expectations, critical factors for growth, top challenges faced by small businesses, Internet usage, future investment areas, financing considerations, employee benefits, exporting, regulatory compliance, business demographics and others.

For more information about the survey, call toll-free at 1-888-982-7232.
