A webinar aimed at educating West Virginia farmers and small businesses will take place Monday, August 27 at 2 p.m.
The webinar, a joint venture by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Energy for America Program (REAP), the Natural Capital Investment Fund and Solar United Neighbors will cover solar technology and possible savings, as well as financing and grant funding available.
According to an advisory, REAP provides grant funds and guaranteed loan financing to farmers and rural small businesses for a wide range of energy improvements.
Over its history, REAP has provided hundreds of millions of dollars in funding for more than 12 thousand renewable energy projects nationwide, including more than $4 million for more than 100 projects in West Virginia.
