More than 117,000 for-profit, nonprofit and charitable entities are formally registered to do business in West Virginia, and more than 90 percent of them are considered small businesses, the West Virginia Secretary of State's Office reported.
This week, May 5-11, the Secretary of State's Office is celebrating National Small Business Week.
In effort to improve the services provided by the Secretary of State’s Business & Licensing Division and the WV One Stop Business Center, Secretary Mac Warner will use National Small Business Week to kick-off of a “New Business Customer Survey.”
The two-minute online survey seeks advice from the owners of new businesses. The survey asks new business owners to rate the services provided to them in order for the Secretary of State’s Office to provide the best customer experience possible.
