An Oceana man was flown to a Charleston hospital following a single-car accident Friday morning, according to Wyoming County Sheriff C.S. Parker.
Ricky Lafferty was leaving Pinnacle Hollow just before 8 a.m. and apparently fell asleep. His vehicle hit a guardrail, then caught fire, Parker said.
His condition was unavailable Friday afternoon.
The investigation is continuing.
