A Mountaineer Mitsubishi sales consultant has won a district-wide award.

Bill Wise, a three-year employee with Mountaineer, was recognized in the South East region for his work on the “Eclipse Cross Meeting-in-a-Box Walkaround Challenge.”

“This Walkaround Video Challenge is very special to us, Mitsubishi and your dealership,” John Crowe, senior director of customer experience, wrote in a letter to Wise. “It was designed to enhance the product knowledge of our Sales Consultants for one of our most important vehicles: the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross.

“You demonstrated innovation and determination by not only participating in the training but also by submitting a video entry in our Walkaround Challenge. Your hard work paid off, and we hope you enjoy your award.”

Jay Anderson, Mountaineer Mitsubishi sales manager, said he’s very proud of Wise’s accomplishments.

“This shows he knows the Mitsubishi product better than all the other dealerships in our district, which enhances his ability to sell the product,” Anderson said.

Wise said he was proud to be named the winner out of 14 competing dealerships.

“To be able to compete against my peers and win is a great honor,” the Oak Hill resident said.

For Wise’s accomplishments, Mitsubishi provided some swag, including a day planner, a backpack and pen, and Mountaineer treated him to dinner at The Char.
