He’s coming to town! Plan to meet the Easter Bunny and search for prizes at the Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt at The Resort at Glade Springs April 5.
More than 1,000 colored Easter eggs will be hidden, each filled with a small prize. Three of the eggs will contain a certificate for first, second and third prizes to be given away at the end of the egg hunt. The Easter Bunny will lead the hunt for eggs and pose for photos with the children.
The Easter buffet will be inside the Bright Ballroom, and the egg hunt will be outdoors on the grounds surrounding the Inn & Conference Center.
The first seating of the brunch will be at 11:30 a.m. followed by the Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. The second seating of the brunch will take place at 1:30 p.m. Those with reservations for the 1:30 brunch are encouraged to arrive early and join in the egg hunt.
The resort will serve a variety of time-honored Easter favorites for the Easter Brunch Buffet. This year’s menu will feature: Chilled Peach Bisque with Fresh Blueberries; Garden Salad with Dressings; Caesar Salad with Garlic-Parmesan Croutons; Deviled Eggs; Fresh Fruit and Cheese Display; Shrimp Cocktail; Made-to-Order Omelets; Chef-Carved Steamship Ham with Lingonberry Jus; Grilled and Marinated Chicken Breast; Grilled and Spice-Dusted Salmon with Tomato Fennel Ragout and Garden Rice Pilaf; Braised Beef Tips Ribs with Mushroom Bordelaise and Bacon-Studded Potatoes Gratin; Grilled Asparagus Spears; Fresh Vegetable Medley with Herbed Butter; Assorted Rolls with Butter and Chef’s Selection Desserts.
The Easter Brunch Buffet is $36 for adults and $14 for children ages 6 through 12; children under age 6 eat free with a paid adult. Prices do not include sales tax and gratuity of 21 percent.
Admission to the egg hunt is included in the buffet price. Participation in the egg hunt is limited to buffet guests and members of the Glade Springs Golf & Country Club. In the event of inclement weather, the egg hunt will be inside the Inn & Conference Center.
