Three Brenton residents were arrested Tuesday morning on drug charges following the execution of a search warrant in Guyan Subdivision.
Penny Malone, 44, her son Danny Malone, 27, and her boyfriend Douglas Miller, 47, were each charged with delivery of controlled substances (methamphetamine), conspiracy to deliver controlled substances (methamphetamine), and maintaining a dwelling for the purposes of delivering controlled substances, according to Wyoming County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Jimmy White.
Officers from the Wyoming County Sheriff's Department and Southern West Virginia Regional Drug and Violent Crime Task Force executed the search warrant after “numerous controlled buys were conducted upon numerous individuals at the residence,” White said.
He noted the Sheriff's Department had received numerous complaints concerning the residence.
Officers recovered methamphetamine, cash and a firearm, White said.
The three were set to be arraigned before Magistrate Jeff Barlow Tuesday afternoon.
The investigation is continuing.
White said the Sheriff's Department encourages anyone with information pertaining to the illegal sale of drugs in his/her community to contact the department at 304-732-8000, extension 306.
