A boil water advisory for Kanawha Falls Community Water Association has been re-issued due to improper treatment techniques and lack of a properly certified operator.

Also re-issued is a boil advisory for The Village at Rock Ridge in Summers County due to inadequate disinfection.

The boil water advisory for Herndon Community Water has also been re-issued due to failure to properly monitor the drinking water and lack of a properly certified operator

Customers are advised to bring all water to a full rolling boil, let it boil for one minute and let cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.
