Operation Underdog will host its annual Craft and Vendor Fair this Saturday — both to support animals in need and to help locals find gifts in time for Mother's Day.

The fair is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Beckley Plaza Mall. So far, more than 50 vendors have registered.

"It's going to be a huge event inside the Beckley Plaza Mall, so no worries if it's raining," the release said. "We have raffles planned all day long, and you will be able to get information on our services."

Attendees will be able to meet dogs available for adoption, too.

Operation Underdog, a nonprofit organization, helps arrange fostering, transporting, vetting and getting adoptable animals noticed within the community. The group also offers transportation once a month to a low cost spay/neuter clinic in Charleston.
