Margaret Ann O'Neal, executive director of the United Way of Southern West Virginia, puts her public relation skills to work as she moves a load of mulch Monday during a press conference at Control Products Inc. in Daniels as part of the United Way and Mulch for a Month. Greg Dacal, owner of Control Products Inc., announced earlier CPI will be donating to the United Way a portion of their mulch sales for one month. “This is the third year that Control Products has partnered with United Way during spring mulch season,” Dacal said. “This year, $.25 from every cubic yard of mulch sold from May 15 to June 15 will be donated to the United Way. This is an easy way for people to donate as they prepare their homes and businesses for the summer season.” To purchase mulch for your home or business by calling Control Products Inc. at 304-763-4683 or go by their location at 1817 Ritter Drive in Daniels.
