Ready, set ... brides

14th Annual Bridal, Prom & Special Occasions Show

— For those surprised by a holiday marriage proposal and who are now in the throes of planning a ceremony, don’t despair. The 14th Annual Bridal, Prom & Special Occasions Show returns to Tamarack Conference Center, Beckley, Feb. 23 from noon to 3 p.m., with free access to conceivably every answer to how, what and where in preparing a wedding.

A special ticketed 10 a.m. Bridal Brunch and exclusive early vendor preview are available through advanced registration and are $15 each.

More than 50 wedding and reception service providers will convene at noon on event day for brides to interview and gather information for making their location, catering, music, floral and attire decisions for their upcoming nuptials.

Brides-to-be will also join forward-thinking prom-goers at the Harvey’s Fashions, Prom and Bridal’s fashion show, presenting at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. during the event. Attendees can expect the popular clothier to debut the newest styles in wedding, prom and attendant formalwear.

More vendors will boast elaborate displays for jewelry and other bridal party gift ideas, skin care lines and travel packages.

The Bridal, Prom and Special Occasions Show is famous for giving the grandest grand prize to a lucky registrant and is no different this year, as John Eye Big Sandy Superstore will offer up a bedroom suite valued at approximately $1,000 to a lucky winner.
