UC-Beckley to hold open house Tuesday

BECKLEY — The University of Charleston-Beckley will host an open house for the Beckley community and prospective students on Tuesday, January 8 from 4-6 p.m. in the library of the Learning Resource Center located at 320 S. Kanawha St. in Beckley.

UC President Ed Welch, Area President Jerry Forster and other faculty and staff members will answer questions about UC-Beckley and introduce the school to the community, while UC's mascot, MoHarv, poses for photos with children of all ages. Admissions representatives will also be available to discuss the University's 32 academic offerings across four campuses (Beckley, Charleston, Martinsburg and online) and help prospective students apply for the upcoming spring semester.

Tuesday's event is sponsored by City National Bank.
