The 2013 Southern West Virginia Honor Band plays to a packed house at the Woodrow Wilson High School auditorium Saturday afternoon. Performances were held Friday and Saturday with students selected after being nominated by band directors from 18 high schools and middle schools in Fayette,
Greenbrier, Nicholas, Raleigh, Summers and Wyoming counties. A total of 175 students were selected and auditioned for chair placement in The Gold Band or The Silver Band. Top students from both school groups were placed in The Gold Band.
