3rd suspect sought in Crab Orchard robbery

Two men have been arrested and warrants obtained for a third suspect in connection to a Tuesday morning robbery at Venus Lounge on Robert C. Byrd Drive in Crab Orchard.

Around 3:20 a.m., two Raleigh County Sheriff’s deputies on patrol saw a white male running from Venus Lounge and across Robert C. Byrd toward Gray Road.

Cpl. R.R. White and Deputy J.A. Grogg caught Roland Suttle, 32, of Sophia, who was carrying a plastic bag containing money and a “makeshift” mask, reported police.

As the deputies talked to Suttle, the emergency operations center passed on the report of a robbery from Venus Lounge.

An investigation led to Suttle’s arrest and that of Jeffery Fink, 53, of Sophia, for their alleged involvement in the robbery.

Suttle and Fink were charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

Additional warrants for robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony have been obtained for Kenneth Meador, 29, of Sophia, in connection to this incident.

Anyone with information regarding Meador’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department, 304-255-9300, or Crime Stoppers, 304-255-7867.
