The Greenbrier nets nearly $122,000 from new casino
CHARLESTON — The Greenbrier netted nearly $122,000 from its new casino in the first month of operation.
Figures released Wednesday by the state Lottery Commission show revenues from table games and video slot machines totaled $121,933 in October.
The four-star resort began offering blackjack and other table games on Oct. 1. Forty-four video slot machines were added in mid-October.
Vice President of Casino Operations Todd Fishon says the gambling revenue was “right about what we thought.”
A larger version of the casino is expected to open in April.
