WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS —
Four West Virginia state Su-preme Court candidates have been invited to speak at the annual Chamber of Commerce gathering.
The summit is set for Aug. 29-31 at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs.
Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin and Sen. Joe Manchin will give remarks Wednesday, then a panel will talk about challenges and opportunities for West Virginia manufacturers. The court candidates’ forum is also Wednesday.
On Thursday, another panel will discuss educational challenges, while three Republican candidates will give what the chamber calls “special presentations.”
They are incumbent Reps. David McKinley and Shelley Moore Capito and the GOP challenger for state attorney general, Patrick Morrisey.
The event will wrap up Friday with a speech by former White House press secretary Dana Perino and a presentation by Republican gubernatorial contender Bill Maloney.
