MARTINSBURG (AP) — ISCO Industries plans to open a distribution facility in the Mid-Atlantic Industrial Park in Martinsburg.
The Berkeley County Development Authority said Thursday that the facility will be located in an existing 55,000-square-foot-building.
Louisville, Ky.-based ISCO distributes high density polyethylene pipe and fabricates pipe fittings.
ISCO CEO Mark Kirchdorfer says the company chose Martinsburg because of the existing building and available work force. He also cited the building’s location along Interstate 81.
Initially, 10 people are expected to be employed. The company expects to eventually employ 50 workers.
