BECKLEY — The second suspect wanted in an alleged stun gun attack has turned herself in, Beckley police said.
Eppie Small, 24, of 23 Redden Village, Bluefield, is charged with one count of first-degree robbery, one count of felony destruction of property and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony, Detective Cpl. Sam McClure said.
Capt. Jeff Shumate said Small turned herself in Thursday morning and was released on $50,000 bond.
Tammie Sue Whittaker, 38, of 371 Country Hill Drive, Princeton, faces the same charges. Whittaker turned herself in to police Monday and was released on bond.
The incident at the South Eisenhower Drive Microtel was reported after midnight Feb. 14. Whittaker and Small allegedly attacked and robbed a 31-year-old female Mercer County resident in the parking lot.
The suspects, McClure said, used a stun gun to disable the woman. At one point, her purse was taken.
