BECKLEY — A 19-year-old Beckley woman faces up to five years in prison after pleading guilty to wanton endangerment in Raleigh County Circuit Court Thursday.
Kerina Jonee Vaughn’s plea stemmed from a Jan. 8 incident where she shot a .22 caliber handgun at a woman with whom she had argued over a former boyfriend.
Vaughn, who was standing in the doorway of a Beckley Family Dollar store, fired several rounds at the victim as she pulled her SUV into the parking lot.
The victim was not struck, but her vehicle was.
Vaughn was remanded to Southern Regional Jail and will be sentenced by Judge H.L. Kirkpatrick on April 22.
