Post 32 wins South Charleston Invitational
CHARLESTON — Tyler Lucas scored on an error with two outs in the seventh inning to give Beckley Post 32 a 3-3 win over South Charleston Post 94 and the championship of the South Charleston Invitational on Sunday.
Lucas reached when he was hit by a pitch and later advanced to second. He scored the game-winner on Jake Justice’s two-out single to right.
Bryan Hughes worked the top of the seventh for the win.
Earlier in the day, Beckley hammered Bellefonte (Pa.) 13-5 in five innings. Rob Stephens homered, while Jimmy Earp and Dave Allen each had three hits.
Beckley (10-3) visits Parkersburg Post 15 today for a 5:30 p.m. doubleheader.
