Mount Hope 36, Iaeger 14

MOUNT HOPE — Da’Von Marion ran for 165 yards and three touchdowns as the unbeaten Mustangs rolled to a 36-14 win.

Marion also had 18 tackles on defense while Ryan Lester made a 68-yard fumble return for a score.

Mount Hope (3-0) hosts Pendleton County for homecoming Friday.

HINTON — Walter Patton scored on a four-yard run with 1:44 remaining in the first quarter to give the Tigers the victory.

Shady’s balanced attack saw Chris Setliff gain 65 yards, Eric Lucas 64, Matt Brooks 52 and Patton 50. Josh Weeks also completed six passes for 61 yards.

Seth Bower gained 76 yards and Tim Wynes 43 for the Bobcats.

Summers (0-3) plays at Wyoming East Friday. Shady (2-1) hosts Independence.

UPPER GLADE — Dexter Skidmore ran for 127 yards and two touchdowns as the Warriors improved to 3-0 on the campaign.

Derek Kiner caught four passes for 118 yards, including touchdowns of 64 and 4 yards. Aaron Totten had an 85-yard scoring run.

Mike Callison ran for 65 yards and passed for 64 while Totten also threw for 64 yards. Kendall Beverage had a 26-yard interception return for a TD.

The Warriors will host East Hardy Friday.
