Mount Hope 54, Pendleton County 20

MOUNT HOPE — Da’Von Marion ran for 274 yards, including touchdowns of 24, 44, 14 and 4 yards, to lead the unbeaten Mustangs to a 54-20 win over Pendleton County.

Joe Thornquest added 33 yards and a score for Mount Hope (4-0). Eric Cannaday caught an 8-yard TD pass from Kyle James and Cameron Gray found the end zone on a three-yard run.

HICO — The Patriots got three touchdowns from Dustin Nickell to record their third win in four outings.

Nickell caught two 15-yard TD passes from Nathan Syner and also had a 13-yard run. He finished with 134 yards, including 104 on the ground for Trail (3-1).

Syner hit 4 of 5 passes for 50 yards. he also had a 16-yard TD pass to Coty Pierson.
