Roundup: Post 32 prevails

CHARLESTON — Beckley Post 32 won a pair of games Friday at Appalachian Power Park.
In the first game, Jimmy Earp singled in Rob Stephens with the bases loaded and nobody out in the bottom of the seventh inning in a 3-2 win over Elkins Post 29. Earp and Stephens both had three hits in the game.
In the nightcap, Stephens drove in five runs as Post 32 hammered Bellefonte (Pa.) Post 33 18-8 in five innings. Earp and Dave Allen had two RBIs apiece for Beckley.
Logan Ray and Tyler Zimm picked up victories for Beckley (7-3).
Post 32 takes on Moundsville Post 3 at 11:15 a.m. today, then South Charleston Post 94 at 6:30 p.m. Both games will be played at South Charleston High School.
