Two men have been arrested and a stolen vehicle recovered in Nicholas County after a police pursuit.
Johnny Lee Frame, 28, of Summersville, and J.W. Shortridge, 33, of Lookout, were arrested Saturday on felony charges of fleeing in a vehicle, according to a press release issued by Nicholas County Sheriff Wetzel Bennett.
According to police narrative, the vehicle was stolen near W.Va. 41 near Persinger and Phillips Run Road.
The Nicholas County Sheriff’s Department, Natural Resources Police and the West Virginia State Police pursued the suspects through Persinger and into Muddlety.
The two suspects have been arraigned before a magistrate and have been remanded to Central Regional Jail each in lieu of a $200,000 bond.
