A Georgia man died as a result of a motorcycle accident Wednesday afternoon near Pineville, according to Wyoming County Sheriff Randall Aliff.

John Bynum, 65, of Sharpesville, Ga., apparently lost control of his motorcycle and hit the guardrail, at Jackson’s Curve on W.Va. 10/16, about 3:30 p.m.

He was flown to a Beckley hospital where he was later pronounced dead, Aliff said.
