BUCKHANNON — Buckhannon police are investigating a weekend brawl involving about 20 students from West Virginia Wesleyan College and Alderson Broaddus University.

Police chief Matthew Gregory tells media outlets that the incident occurred outside the Kappa Alpha fraternity house early Sunday morning.

Gregory says about half a dozen students were injured. One suffered a broken jaw and another was stabbed in an arm. The others were treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.

No arrests have been made.

West Virginia Wesleyan and Alderson Broaddus say they are cooperating with the investigation.
