According to Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department Chief of Detectives Larry Lilly, the sheriff’s office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Stanaford Sunoco Station on Monday around 10:30 p.m.
Lilly described the perpetrator is a male, approximately 5’11” and medium build.
A man wearing a blue and white camouflage hoodie and black jeans entered the store, presented a handgun and demanded money from the clerk, reported Lilly.
The police confirmed that the clerk complied, the male left the store, and no injuries were reported.
Deputies are in the process of obtaining surveillance video.
