Man arrested by local police on drug charges

— A 21-year-old Beckley man is charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver after an investigation conducted by Beckley Police Department Special Enforcement Unit.

Kenneth L. Eaves Jr., of Combs Street, turned himself in at the Beckley Police Department Wednesday around 1:30 p.m. Police had been searching for him after a search warrant was served at his residence and a large quantity of marijuana was recovered.
