Man charged with delivery of controlled pills

Chief Jeremy Bennett of the Alderson Police Department, in cooperation with the Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, arrested Curtis Eugene Vandall Wednesday, charging him with delivery of a controlled substance.

The charge stemmed from a controlled “buy-bust” that included the transaction of 80 10 mg hydrocodone/APAP pills in the Town of Alderson.

Vandall was arraigned by a Monroe County magistrate. He was released on a surety bond of $5,000.

The Alderson Police Department commended the assistance of the GVDVC Task Force.
