State Police in Raleigh County have arrested a missing sex offender wanted for violation of West Virginia’s sex offender registry laws.
Michael Andrew Blair II, 26, was arrested without incident in Beckley Wednesday at 2 p.m. by Cpl. M.K. Summers. Police say Blair was wanted for failure to comply with the West Virginia Sex Offender Registry Act, obtaining a controlled substance by fraud, violation of a domestic violence petition, bail piece and failure to appear on two counts of check fraud.
He is being held in Southern Regional Jail on $40,000 bond.
