Stabbing incident still under review
The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a stabbing at Glen Fork Post Office.
The incident occurred Tuesday about 12:30 p.m., Sheriff Randall Aliff said.
One man was transported to the hospital with a stab wound, he said.
Two men, who were not identified, reportedly got into an altercation inside the post office. One of the men raised his cane as if to hit the other, Aliff said. The man with the cane was then reportedly stabbed.
Witness accounts differed, Aliff said, so an arrest had not been made Tuesday afternoon. The investigation is continuing.
