Raleigh County indictments released by prosecutor’s office

Two Boone County residents accused of concealing a dead body and a Beckley man accused of attempted first-degree murder were among those indicted by a Raleigh County grand jury, the prosecutor’s office said Friday.

Marsha M. Bias, 37, of Jeffrey, and David W. Hunter, 57, of Seth, are charged with concealment of a deceased human body as well as conspiracy.

William Harvey Barrett, 54, of Beckley, faces charges of malicious wounding and attempted first-degree murder.



The individuals listed below must report to the Raleigh County Courthouse (Courtroom) B at 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, to answer indictments before Judge H.L. Kirkpatrick.

Each individual charged should appear with his or her attorney.

Anderson, Michael Lynn, 44, Cool Ridge, 3rd-degree sexual assault.

Bennett, Eric David, 29, Cool Ridge, destruction of property, 7 counts; stalking while a final protective order is in effect; nighttime burglary; daytime burglary, retaliating against a person appearing as a witness, battery, obstructing a police officer, violation of temporary protective order.
