LEWISBURG — The last Greenbrier County grand jury of the year handed up 36 indictments Wednesday, including two men charged with separate sex crimes against male and female minors.
Ronald Rhoton Jr., 34, of Rainelle, was indicted on five counts of first-degree sexual abuse, two counts of first-degree sexual assault and four counts of sexual abuse by a parent or guardian.
Rhoton is accused of engaging in sex acts with three minor females, ages 6 to 10, in late 2006.
William Clay Lattanzia, 52, address unknown, was indicted on charges of first-degree sexual assault, first-degree sexual abuse and sexual abuse by a parent or guardian.
The indictment alleges Lattanzia engaged in sex acts with two male victims, 6 and 8 years of age, between 2004 and 2007.
The following defendants will be arraigned before Circuit Judge Joseph P. Pomponio Jr., 9 a.m. Friday:
-- Shannon Lee Feury, 30, of White Sulphur Springs; delivery of cocaine, delivery of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, conspiracy to deliver cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
-- Donald C. Dempsey, 45, of White Sulphur Springs; delivery of cocaine and delivery of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school.
-- Ebony D. Hopkins, 31, of Alderson; three counts delivery of cocaine, two counts conspiracy to delivery hydrocodone and conspiracy to deliver oxycodone.
-- Theresa Michelle Battaille, 29, of Alderson; delivery of oxycodone and conspiracy to deliver oxycodone.
-- Thomas Dewey Walton, 24, of Lewisburg; three counts delivery of oxycodone and conspiracy to deliver oxycodone.
-- Jason Eric Windon, 21, of Maxwelton, delivery of oxycodone and conspiracy to deliver oxycodone.
-- Cherie Dawn McCoy, 29, of Lewisburg; delivery of oxycodone and conspiracy to deliver oxycodone.
-- James Richard “Bo” Burdette, 43, of Caldwell; delivery of hydrocodone and conspiracy to deliver hydrocodone.
-- Christopher Steven Smrkovsky, 50, of Manahawkin, N.J.; first-degree arson.
-- Daniel Wayne Crookshanks, 21, of Auto; wanton endangerment and two counts malicious assault.
-- Alex Britton Morrello, 22, of Rupert; eight counts forgery and eight counts uttering.
-- Perry Dean Black, 49, of Lewisburg; prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
-- Eric Kenneth Wykle, 34, of Frankford; burglary, petit larceny and destruction of property.
-- Marvin D. Adams, 43, of Lynco; grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.
-- Stephanie L. Toler, 34, of Lynco; grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.
-- Rebecca L. O’Brien, 44, of Ronceverte; welfare fraud.
