Wyoming man charged in stabbing death of mother

SAULSVILLE — A 30-year-old Saulsville man was charged with first degree murder Monday following the stabbing of his mother, according to Wyoming County Sheriff's Chief Deputy C.S. Parker.

Joshua Dale May and his 63-year-old mother, Sandra, apparently got into an argument. She left the house and went into the yard, Parker said. May followed her and allegedly stabbed her with a knife at about 9 a.m., Parker said.

He lived with his mother on Bower’s Ridge Road.

His brother, Jeremy, also lived in the house, but officials do not believe he was involved, Parker said.

Deputies arrested May at the scene.

Law enforcement has dealt with May on previous occasions, Parker said.

The investigation is continuing.
