Arrest made after robbery of Nettie gas station

Police have arrested a man suspected of robbing a gas station Tuesday night in Nicholas County.

Thomas Christian Caufield, 29, of Richwood, was arrested Wednesday by the Nicholas County Sheriff’s Department.

Police say the suspect confronted a clerk with a gun at the Nettie Go-Mart just after midnight and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Caufield is being held at Central Regional Jail.
