West Virginia State Police raided a Rainelle residence Monday and arrested four people in connection of a “shake and bake” or “mobile” methamphetamine lab, police said.
Acting on tips from concerned citizens, Trooper First Class W.S. Snyder of the Rainelle detachment discovered a “meth lab” in duffle bags near the Middletown Apartment Complex.
Stephen Cool, 27, of Danese, John Lafferty, 26, of Rainelle, James Johnson, of Quinwood, and Pamela Grimmett, 32, of Rainelle, were charged with one count each of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine methamphetamine lab, police said.
More arrests are expected, according to Snyder.
All suspects except Cool posted bond. Cool was at Southern Regional Jail Tuesday.
This is the third in Rainelle since Friday. A total of 11 arrests were made in the raids.
