WYOMING COUNTY — The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department has released the name of a body found Saturday morning in Gooney Otter Creek near Amigo.

The body of Frank Lester, 65, of Bud, has been sent to the state medical examiner to determine the cause of death, according to Chief Deputy C.S. Parker.

Lester disappeared around 10:30 p.m. Friday, Parker said, and had apparently been drinking. When he didn’t return home, a search ensued. The body was found the following morning at about 11 a.m., Parker said.
