Alderson man arrested for first degree sexual assault

The West Virginia State Police Crimes Against Children Unit has arrested a Summers County man for sexual offenses.

Kevin Wade Zickefoose, 18, of Alderson, was arrested around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, charged with first degree sexual assault and sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person in a position of trust to a child and indecent exposure.

His alleged offenses relate to a Dec. 26, 2011, event in Summers County.

Zickefoose was arraigned before Summers County Magistrate J.W. “Bill” Jeffries Jr.

He is being held at Southern Regional Jail on $50,000 bond.
