A Fayette County man was sentenced by U.S. District Judge John T. Copenhaver Jr. to two years in federal prison for selling oxycodone.
Michael Terry Coleman, 28, of Page, pleaded guilty in October to distribution of oxycodone. He admitted that on April 12, he sold three 30-milligram oxycodone pills at his residence to an individual cooperating with law enforcement authorities.
He sold another two 30-milligram oxycodone pills on April 24 to an individual acting with law enforcement.
Coleman admitted being responsible for distributing approximately 150 30-milligram pills.
The West Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation conducted the investigation and Assistant U.S. Attorney John File handled the prosecution.
