One jailed after altercation injures man, juvenile

Hinton Police arrested a man on two counts of malicious wounding Sunday night, confirmed the Hinton Police Department.

Chief Derek Snavely said Larry Jarrells, 21, of Hinton, was arrested after an adult male and a juvenile girl were hit with a piece of wood during an altercation.

Both the man and girl were injured, said police.

Jarrells is being held in Southern Regional Jail on $20,000 bond.
