Hot Spot Lounge robbery under investigation



The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Hot Spot Lounge on South Fayette Street in Beckley was robbed at gunpoint early Monday morning.

Police said an employee reported that two males brandishing handguns entered the lounge around 2 a.m. and made the employee get on the floor.

The two left with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was injured during the robbery and police are in the process of pulling surveillance videos in the area of the video lottery lounge.

The sheriff’s department said this incident is still under investigation, and descriptions of suspects and further information will be released at a later time.
