Motion to reconsider is denied

Raleigh County Circuit Court Judge John Hutchison Tuesday denied a motion by a Beckley man seeking reconsideration of his most recent sentence.

Raushan “Jelly Bread” McDougald, 32, had pleaded guilty to two drug delivery charges, receiving two one- to 15-year sentences to be served consecutively.

In his motion to reconsider, McDougald asked for probation and/or for the sentences to run concurrently.

McDougald also asked for the motion because of the need to care for his children and his sick grandmother.

McDougald, who has faced multiple drug-related charges in the past, is currently being held at the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail.
