Lookout man injured after crashing on motorcycle

A motorcycle accident in Fayette County sent one person to the hospital with minor injuries, according to a press release from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.

A 58-year-old man from Lookout was taken to Plateau Medical Center after an accident near Ames Heights on U.S. 19.

Deputies on scene said the man had crashed his Harley-Davidson into the back of a pickup truck. The truck was traveling slowly while escorting a farm tractor along the shoulder of U.S. 19.

The crash remains under investigated by the Sheriff’s Office.
