A federal magistrate judge scheduled trial dates this week for three suspects who were arrested last month as part of the on-going Bluefield Pill Initiative.
Laura Jennngs, 54, of Maybeury, Earl Inscore, 43, and Robin Roope, 39, both of Princeton, appeared for their arraignment/detention hearings Tuesday before U.S. Magistrate Judge R. Clarke VanDervort at U.S. District Court in Beckley.
Jennings was named in a three-count indictment alleging that she distributed a quantity of oxycodone; Inscore was also named in a three-count federal indictment alleging that he distributed a quantity of hydromorphone; and Roope was named in a four-count indictment alleging that she distributed a quantity of hydromorphone.
The court scheduled all three defendants for a March 26 trial date at 9:30 a.m. at U.S. District Court in Bluefield before Senior Status U.S. District Judge David A. Faber of the Southern District of West Virginia.
The court continued bond for all three defendants.
