Suspect sought in Dollar General robbery

West Virginia State Police are investigating the robbery of a Dollar General store in Raleigh County.

The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. Tuesday at the Harper Heights Dollar General, according to officials.

The suspect was described as a black male who is around 6-feet-2 inches tall. His face was hidden beneath a black bandana, and he wore a hooded, black jacket.  

He allegedly brandished a firearm and told the clerk to give him cash.

Senior Trooper Wood of the Beckley detachment is investigating.
