Suspect sought for inappropriately touching

BECKLEY — Beckley Police detectives are searching for a man who reportedly touched female juveniles inappropriately at Kohl’s Department Store in Beckley on Monday.

According to Cpl. Morgan Bragg, police received reports from three juvenile girls who told police they were touched inappropriately at the store.

Their claims are backed by store surveillance, said Bragg.

Kohl’s managers have submitted surveillance video to police.

“It’s very good video,” said Bragg. “We will likely identify this guy pretty quickly.”

Bragg said the suspect is a white man of medium build with dark hair, in his early to mid-30s, 5’10” to 6’1” tall, weighing 180 to 200 pounds.

In the video, he was wearing a white, down-filled jacket, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Police have not released the ages of the victims, and they suspect that more victims may come forward.

“Through reviewing video, it appears there may have been additional victims that have not come forward,” said Bragg. “We would encourage them to do so.”

Bragg may be reached at 304-256-1708.
