— An Oceana man was arrested early Wednesday morning on numerous charges relating to a series of vehicle break-ins, according to Oceana Police Chief Jeff Barlow.

Timothy Ray Morgan, 30, was charged with three counts of petit larceny, one count of destruction of property, attempted breaking and entering of a vehicle, attempted burglary/entering without breaking and unlawful possession of a deadly weapon in connection with the alleged Aug. 21 crime spree on Brook and Mason streets in Oceana, Barlow said.

Some of the property has been recovered.

One of the vehicles belonged to another council member, Barlow said.
