1 arrested, 2 sought on drug charges in Fayette

OAK HILL — One person has been arrested and two more are wanted for transporting drugs into West Virginia to sell, reported the Oak Hill Police Department and the Central West Virginia Drug Task Force.

Oak Hill Chief Michael Whisman confirmed that Charity Leady, 28, of Oak Hill, was arrested Saturday and charged with one count of delivery of heroin, two counts of possession with intent to deliver and one count of conspiracy.

Leady has since been released on $25,000 bond.

Warrants are still outstanding for Nathan Davis, 24, of Morgantown, and Martin Luther Wrack, 24, of Detroit, Mich.

Davis is wanted for two counts of transporting a controlled substance into the state, two counts of possession with intent to deliver and one count of conspiracy.

Wrack is wanted for two counts of transporting a controlled substance into the state, two counts of possession with the intent to deliver and one count of conspiracy.

During the course of this investigation, $11,000 worth of heroin, numerous hydrocodone pills and $2,000 cash were seized, said Whisman.

The warrants were obtained by the Central West Virginia Drug Task Force, which includes members of the Oak Hill Police Department, State Police and Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
