Arrests made in car theft cases

 

Officers have made four arrests involving car thefts from late November, according to the Lewisburg Police Department.

Kenneth Lemar Marshall, 23, of Lewisburg, and Steven Cody Hunter, 23, of Kieffer, have each been charged with three counts of breaking and entering an automobile and conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor in relation to incidents that occurred in Laffayette and Dwyer Lane in Lewisburg.

Marshall and Hunter have been arraigned before a Greenbrier County magistrate and were released on a $1,500 bond.

Patrolman D.E. Rexford and Patrolman A.L. Workman were the investigating officers.

Two other men were arrested for break-ins in the Underwood Estates area.

David Rookstool, 21, of Rupert, and Aaron Mi-chael Dorsey, 22, of Meadow Bridge, were both charged with fraudulent use of a credit card and breaking and entering of an automobile.

Rookstool and Dorsey are currently being held at Southern Regional Jail.

Rookstool is also facing federal charges in relation to a break-in at Frank’s Gun and Pawn from November 2010. Police say some items have been recovered that were stolen from the vehicles.

Detective Cpl. J.A. Vance was the investigating officer in this case.
